About Me
With a deep passion for sports and entertainment, I have carved out a dynamic career as a freelance journalist, covering everything from the intense action on the cricket, rugby, and football fields to the vibrant world of concerts and live events.
My journey into the media world began at Tuks FM in 2002, where I honed my skills and served as Marketing and Sales Manager. This foundation led to my role as an editor and journalist for publications created in association with the prestigious Pretoria News and Independent Media starting in 2005, where I developed a reputation for delivering insightful and impactful stories.
As an accredited cricket and rugby journalist, I have had the privilege of covering some of the most thrilling moments in sports history. My experience includes reporting on Cricket World Cups, Rugby World Cups, FIFA Football World Cup, Basketball, Baseball and several Grand Slam Tennis Tournaments and a host of other world-class events. I have acted as a correspondent on rugby, cricket, and football for SABC, SAFM as several reputable Podcasts where I bring an authoritative voice to these beloved sports. I have been a senior writer for renowned platforms such as the Cape Argus Sports Show, The US Press Association, Prescience Media, and On The Ball Media, where my work continues to resonate with readers and sports enthusiasts alike.
My work is not limited to match reports and event coverage; I delve deep into the lives and minds of the greatest athletes of our time, conducting thought-provoking interviews that reveal the human side of sporting excellence. My writing is where creativity meets serious journalism, offering readers a blend of entertainment and rigorous analysis.
Whether it's the roar of the crowd at a packed stadium, the electric atmosphere of a live concert, or a candid conversation with a sporting legend, my mission is to capture the essence of the moment and share it with the world. In every piece I write, I strive to educate, inform, and entertain, bringing my readers closer to the heart of the action.
